A sand maker is a machine that primarily reduces materials through impact. Raw materials are fed into a hammer crusher, subjected to the forceful impact of high-speed rotating hammer heads. The crushed material acquires kinetic energy from the hammerheads and is propelled toward the baffle and screen within the machine frame. The material undergoes further size reduction through repeated collisions with each other and the machine components. Particles smaller than the screen openings pass through, while larger particles are retained on the screen for additional crushing by the hammer heads’ impact, grinding, and extrusion action. This process continues until the desired particle size is achieved.
