Dasen Mining team delves into the Zambia Copper Oxide Ore Dressing Technology, providing professional optimization solutions. Following the footsteps of the Dasen Mining team, we arrived at a large-scale 1000tpd copper ore dressing plant in Zambia.
Within the plant, equipment such as ball mills, flotation machines, classifiers, vibrating screens, belt conveyors, and storage bins are neatly arranged, carrying out busy ore dressing operations.

During this visit, the Dasen Mining team not only observed the scale of the ore dressing plant but more importantly, worked on optimizing the operation of the mine.

Mine owners actively seek professional advice; Dasen Mining team conducts precise analysis and proposes solutions Upon active consultation with the mine owners, the Dasen Mining team learned that the copper grade in the original ore of the ore dressing project was 5.08%, silver grade was 650.72g/t, and gold grade was 0.91g/t. Among these, copper primarily existed in the form of copper oxide, adding complexity to the copper ore dressing process.

Facing the intricate ore dressing conditions, the Dasen Mining team, leveraging their rich experience and professional expertise, conducted on-site exploration and analysis, and suggested targeted optimization solutions:

Use two-stage semi-closed-circuit crushing, two-stage semi-closed-circuit grinding, one rough, three scavenging, and four fine flotation, and concentrate dewatering process.
The final concentrate can yield: copper concentrate 20.23%, silver 3526.63g/t, gold 4.41g/t.
This solution carefully considered post-construction plans and met the project’s production requirements, receiving approval from the mine owners.
