Mining feeders for consistent control

Can you tell me more about feeder types and how to choose them?

1. Type of vibrating mineral feeder

① Heavy plate feeder
A heavy-duty plate feeder has the advantage of being able to adjust ore feeding capacity according to chain plate speed, and its impact resistance is greater than any other feeder, so it is durable, long-lasting, and can feed a large amount of ore. (Large mines use heavy-duty plate feeders to feed coarse broken ore.)
② Light plate feeder
In small and medium-sized mines, light-duty plate feeders are mostly used for rough feeding.
③ Trough feeder
Small mine coarse crushing feeders use trough feeders because they are simple in structure and occupy a small space.
④ Motor with eccentric hammer vibrating feeder
Vibrating feeders with eccentric hammers have large amplitudes, uneven feeding, and large feed quantities. Usually, it is used for automobile transfer silos and automobile feeding systems.

2. Suspended vibrating feeder for mining
① Vibration feeder with motor Large electromagnetic vibration feeder
Feeders with this feature are commonly used in fine crushing and medium crushing. Its advantages include stable feeding, and the amount of feed can be selected according to the size of the crusher.
② Double-mass vibrating feeder that hangs
The system is often used in the feeding of different materials such as block, granular, and powder in coal, metallurgy, and other industries; advantages: uniform feeding, energy reduction and noise reduction, no motor burning, large feeding volume, durable; disadvantages: the price is relatively higher due to electromagnetics.

3. Disc feeders, pendulum feeders, and small electromagnetic vibrating feeders.
① Electromagnetic vibrating feeders for small and medium-sized
Ball mills are mostly fed with small and medium-sized electromagnetic vibrating feeders. Granular ore feeding can be adjusted arbitrarily depending on its current size, and the amount of ore after adjustment is stable and does not spill. Feeding mud- and water-containing ore has the disadvantage of being difficult and unstable.
② Pendulum feeder
For feeding ball mills, pendulum feeders are used. There are advantages to it, including stable ore feeding, no spraying of materials, and little effect of water and mud on feed; its disadvantage is the difficulty in adjusting the amount of feed and the crank stroke. A similar adjustment must be made to both crank strokes.
③ Disc feeder
Feeding the ball mill is usually done with a disc feeder.

4. Activation Vibrating Feeder
The activation feeder is equipped with a special activation block to effectively prevent material clogging during coal feeding operations in underground, roadway, chute, and ground receiving pits. It is widely used in coal, electric power, and other industries.
Advantages: Can activate materials, has a large feeding amount, and is easy to install; Disadvantages: Noise is relatively high

5. Belt Feeder
Coal, metallurgy, electric power, wharf, building materials, chemical industry, grain, and other industries use GLD-type belt feeders as continuous conveying equipment for bulk materials.
It has a wide range of applications and is suitable for large feeding volumes. In addition to being fast, stable, and vibration-free, it is also efficient and fast.
