Optimum performance is achieved with suspension solid particle concentrations generally below 10%. Operating pressure typically ranges from 0.3 to 0.6 MPa, with maximum pressures of up to 3 MPa in specific applications. The filter area can be adjusted by varying the number of plates and frames. Frames are typically square, with inner lengths between 320mm and 2000mm, thicknesses of 16mm to 80mm, and an inner area ranging from 1m² to 1300m². Plate and frame assembly is achieved through manual, electric, or hydraulic pressure.
