Description
Coconut shell activated carbon is produced using premium coconut shells sourced from Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia. The production process involves carbonization, activation, and fine processing. This activated carbon is characterized by its black granular appearance, high wear resistance, rapid adsorption rate, substantial adsorption capacity, ease of desorption, and the ability to be regenerated multiple times. It is extensively utilized in gold extraction processes, particularly in the carbon-in-pulp (CIP) and heap leaching methods.
To preserve product integrity, avoid mixing coconut shell-activated carbon with hard materials during transport. Prevent physical damage by avoiding foot traffic on the product. Additionally, water immersion should be strictly prohibited as it can irreparably damage the carbon’s adsorption capacity.
