The fine chrome ore with reasonable fineness after grinding is cleaned and graded by a spiral classifier with the help of different sedimentation speeds in liquid due to the different specific gravity of solid particles. The material is washed by a jigger and shaker and then transported to a spiral chute to separate fine-grained ore powder. After screening, the ore powder is sent to a magnetic separator. The concentrate entering the magnetion is dehydrated by a thickener and then sent to a dryer for drying to obtain usable dry concentrate or secondary grinding to extract minerals.
The main beneficiation methods of chrome ore are gravity separation and magnetic separation.
Lump chrome ore is crushed, washed and screened to remove slime to get lump concentrate. Fine particles are finely ground by grinding equipment to dissociate chromium from gangue. High-grade chromium concentrate is obtained by classification, spiral chute, or shaking table gravity separation. The grade of chromium concentrate and the ratio of chromium to iron can be further improved by magnetic separation after gravity separation.

Chromite (massive, equiaxed crystal system) is a magmatic mineral, which often occurs in ultrabasic rocks and coexists with olivine; also found in placers. It looks like magnetite, which is generally a massive or granular aggregate.
In the treatment of chrome ore deposits project, based on different regions of the ore characteristics. Our company developed a variety of highly efficient washing screening equipment, before the ore feeds into the sorting stage, we design a washing screening stage, this way ensures that the chromium metal has maximum recovery. Our successful cases are currently distributed in Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Turkey, the Philippines, Indonesia, and other countries.
