In August 2024, a customer ordered a 10 tons-per-day (TPD) container-type gold leaching plant from us.

We recently completed the container-type leaching tank section of the project. The customer’s ore is an oxide-type gold ore with a high grade, making it very suitable for leaching. Since this is the customer’s first experience with this type of plant, starting with a small capacity helps reduce investment risk.

Why didn’t the customer order the grinding and crushing components?
The customer already has a crusher and wet pan mill on site. Our engineer inspected the material after it was ground by the wet pan mill and confirmed it can be leached directly. Because the gold content is very high, our engineer added an extra leaching tank to extend leaching time.

 

Additionally, the customer ordered a container-type desorption and electrolysis plant with a capacity of 300 kg per batch. This plant operates under high temperature and high pressure. It separates gold mud from activated carbon, which helps save on carbon usage and allows the customer to recover gold more quickly.

Unfortunately, the customer has encountered some issues. Although the plant is finished, it remains in our warehouse, waiting for delivery.
