In a gold mining area of Cote d’Ivoire, the gold – bearing quartz vein gold ore bodies dominate. Dasen Mining stepped in, offering comprehensive concentrator services and tailor – made smelting gold product solutions, turning the gold cip plant into a remarkable success.
1. Crushing and Screening Stage
Raw ore is transported to the processing site by trucks. The crushing process follows a two – stage one – closed – circuit system. This design efficiently reduces the size of the raw ore, ensuring that it meets the requirements for subsequent processing stages.
2. Grinding and Classification Stage
The crushed products, buffered in the powder ore bin, enter the second – stage closed – circuit grinding and classification system. This stage finely grinds the ore and classifies it, separating the particles of appropriate size for further treatment.
3. Gravity Separation Stage
An innovative addition to the process is the jigging gravity separation system, installed between the first – stage ball mill discharge and the closed – circuit classification. Here, the jigging machine conducts roughing operations, while the shaking table is used for concentration. This combination helps to pre – separate and enrich the gold – bearing components in the ore.
4. Cyanide Gold Extraction Stage
The overflow from the second – stage classification cyclone, after concentration, enters the cyanide leaching system. An eight – stage leaching adsorption and reverse carbon extraction process is employed. This advanced process maximizes the extraction of gold from the ore, ensuring high – efficiency gold recovery.
5. Desorption Electrolysis and Smelting Stage
Once the leaching system’s gold – loaded carbon is saturated with gold, it is sent to the high – temperature and high – pressure desorption electrolysis system. This extracts the gold, resulting in gold mud with a high gold content. After removing impurities, the gold mud is directly fed into the high – frequency gold melting furnace for smelting, producing the final product: mixed gold.
Dasen Mining’s tailored solution combines high recovery efficiency with sustainable practices, making it a model for modern gold processing in Côte d’Ivoire. The integration of gravity separation, cyanidation, and dry tailings management ensures both economic viability and environmental responsibility.
