Description
Designed for global mining projects, our ABS spiral chute is used for gravity separation and concentration of gold, beach sand, ilmenite, zircon, rutile, monazite, tin, tungsten, chromite and tailings. With our own production line, we provide single machines, modular units and integrated gravity separation solutions.
What Mine Owners Really Care About
Mine owners do not only buy equipment. They care about recovery, installation cost, stable operation, maintenance, expansion and payback period.
| Heavy Equipment
Traditional metal equipment can be heavy, increasing transportation, lifting and installation costs, especially in remote mining sites. |
Rust and Corrosion
Wet mineral processing environments are tough. Metal parts may rust or corrode after long-term contact with slurry and water. |
Unstable Separation
Changes in feed rate, slurry density, particle size and ore grade may affect separation performance and mineral recovery. |
| Complicated Installation
A single machine often requires extra supports, pipes, feed boxes and collection systems before operation. |
Difficult Expansion
Many projects start small and expand later. Non-modular equipment may increase future modification costs. |
Payback Pressure
Customers need equipment that can reduce total cost, shorten installation time and support stable production. |
Not Just a Spiral Chute — A Modular Gravity Separation Solution
The ABS spiral chute is a gravity separation machine made of ABS engineering plastic. It uses differences in mineral specific gravity to separate heavy minerals from light minerals as slurry flows downward along the spiral groove.
Based on our own production line, we can customize the chute diameter, spiral turns, support frame, feed system, splitter, collection launder and complete modular layout according to your ore type, capacity and site conditions.
- Available models include 700, 1000, 1200 and 1500 series
- Suitable for roughing, scavenging, pre-concentration and tailings recovery
- Can be combined with shaking tables, magnetic separation or other downstream processes
- Supports modular expansion from pilot scale to production scale

Applications
Suitable Minerals and Processing Scenarios
The ABS spiral chute is suitable for fine mineral gravity separation, heavy mineral concentration, tailings recovery, roughing, scavenging and pre-concentration.
How the ABS Spiral Chute Works
Separation is achieved by the combined effect of gravity, centrifugal force, water flow and mineral density difference.
Slurry Feeding: Ore slurry is fed from the top of the spiral chute and flows downward along the spiral groove under gravity.
Layering and Separation: Heavy minerals settle faster and move toward the inner zone, while lighter minerals are carried toward the outer zone.
Product Collection: Concentrate, middling and tailings can be collected separately through adjustable splitter and launder systems.
