Last week, a customer from Niger visited the Xi’an Dasen Mining Machinery & Equipment Co., Ltd. office to discuss the design of a gold processing plant for his mining project.

The customer expressed interest in a container‑type gold CIL (Carbon‑in‑Leach) plant with a capacity of 10 tons per day.
This compact and modular design allows quick installation and relocation, making it especially suitable for remote mining sites.

In addition, the customer requested that a desorption and electrolysis system be integrated into a separate container unit.
He plans to use this system both for his own gold recovery and as a service for other miners processing gold‑loaded carbon, since no such system currently exists in Niger.

In response, Dasen’s technical engineers proposed a simplified small leaching unit:

  • The process uses a single leaching tank instead of a complete mixing system.
  • Activated carbon is added directly into the leaching tank.
  • Operators must carefully control the ore‑pulp density, which directly affects recovery efficiency.
  • After adsorption, the gold‑loaded carbon can be smelted directly to obtain bullion.

When miners accumulate sufficient funds, they can gradually add additional leaching tanks, scaling the system into a larger, multi‑tank plant.
This modular design makes gold extraction simple, affordable, and easy to expand for small operators.
