The customer’s gold ore is classified as oxide ore, and laboratory testing has produced very promising results regarding gold liberation and recovery efficiency.
Gold Ore Testing and Liberation Results
Through comprehensive test work, the client identified that effective gold liberation was achieved without fine grinding.
The most favorable size fraction for processing was –25 mm to +12.5 mm, in which gold recovery reached up to 90.4% through cyanidation.
This excellent recovery at coarse particle size suggests that heap leaching is a highly appropriate treatment method for this ore type.
