Preparation Before Leaching Test
To perform the chemical test, the customer prepared the following materials and equipment:
Leaching Procedure
- Ensure open‑air mixing — the barrel must remain uncovered throughout the leaching process.
- Add all materials into the barrel and mix continuously for 48 hours.
- After leaching, filter the slurry and collect the loaded activated carbon using a sieve.
- Burn the loaded carbon, then add alloy additives to obtain gold concentrate.
- Use nitric acid to purify the gold.
Note:
Activated carbon must be thoroughly cleaned before use. The rinse solution should be clear, transparent, and free of turbidity or suspended matter.

Even with an open tank, air agitation using an air pump is required to improve the leaching reaction and ensure oxygen flow throughout the slurry.
