Alluvial Gold Processing Plant Flow – Get a Custom Solution

Alluvial gold ore is different from rock gold ore.

For rock gold, cyanidation, flotation, or CIP/CIL processing may be required.
For alluvial gold ore, gravity separation is usually the most practical and efficient solution.

Dasen Mining is a professional alluvial gold wash plant manufacturer and mining equipment factory. We provide custom gold gravity separation solutions for mine owners, mining investors, processing plant operators, and EPC projects worldwide.

Typical Alluvial Gold Production Flow

Feeding → Washing → Screening → Gold Recovery → Fine Gold Recovery → Concentrate Upgrading

A typical alluvial gold processing plant includes:

  1. Rotary Scrubber
  2. Trommel Screen or Vibrating Screen
  3. Vibrating Sluice
  4. Centrifugal Concentrator
  5. Gold Shaking Table

The final equipment configuration should be tailored to your ore condition, clay content, gold particle size, processing capacity, water supply, and mine site.

1. Washing and Clay Removal

Alluvial gold ore often contains mud, clay, sand, and gravel. If the clay is not fully washed, gold particles may remain trapped and be lost.

A rotary scrubber is used to wash the ore, remove clay, and release the gold-bearing material.

The scrubber normally works with water and includes a screening section to separate oversize gravel.

2. Screening the Raw Ore

After washing, the ore is screened to remove large stones, gravel, and unwanted materials.

Depending on your ore, we can use:

  • Trommel screen
  • Vibrating screen
  • Grizzly feeder
  • Dewatering screen

Proper screening protects downstream equipment and improves gold recovery efficiency.

3. Primary Gold Recovery

After washing and screening, the slurry enters a vibrating sluice for primary gold recovery.

The vibrating sluice can recover coarse and visible gold particles. However, using only a sluice may cause fine gold loss.

For higher recovery, we recommend adding fine gold recovery equipment.

4. Fine Gold Recovery

A centrifugal concentrator is used to recover fine gold that may not be captured by the sluice.

It is especially suitable for:

  • Fine free gold
  • Gold mixed with black sand
  • High-value gold concentrate
  • Projects requiring higher recovery

5. Gold Concentrate Upgrading

A gold shaking table is used to further upgrade the concentrate.

It helps separate gold from black sand and other heavy minerals, producing a cleaner and higher-grade gold concentrate.

Custom Alluvial Gold Wash Plant from Dasen Mining

Dasen Mining is not only an equipment supplier. We are a mining equipment manufacturer with custom design and factory production capabilities.

We can provide:

  • Custom alluvial gold wash plant
  • Mobile gold wash plant
  • Modular gold processing plant
  • Rotary scrubber and trommel screen
  • Vibrating sluice
  • Centrifugal concentrator
  • Gold shaking table
  • Plant layout design
