A quick update from our 200TPD gold CIL project in Tanzania. The preliminary mining stage is finished, and construction of the beneficiation plant is officially about to begin. This week we shipped out another batch of equipment — here’s what went into it, and a piece of advice this project keeps proving right: if you’re new to gold leaching, start small before you build big.
What’s in This Delivery
Two of the main machines in this batch are the spiral classifier and the mixing tanks. The leaching tanks, carbon lifters, and other machines are being shipped separately from another location.

Two Ways to Build a Gold Leaching Plant: Small First, or Big From Day One
Every gold miner planning a CIL plant faces the same decision, and it comes down to capacity and risk.
The first route is a small trial plant — 10TPD. The cost is low, the investment is low, and so is the risk. You run your own ore through it, see the real leaching behavior and recovery rate, and train your team on a plant that’s cheap to make mistakes on. This 10TPD plant is one of our most popular products with overseas miners, and here’s the detail that matters most:
Every machine in the 10TPD plant is exactly the same as in the full-scale plant — only the capacity is smaller. So when your trial succeeds and you scale up to 200TPD or beyond, nothing about the process changes. What worked at 10TPD works at 200TPD. No surprises.
The second route is going full scale from the start. If your ore is proven, your funding is in place, and you want serious production, a large plant is the right call. But at this scale, the machines are honestly the easy part. What decides whether a big plant succeeds is the technical service around it: installation, commissioning, operator training, and hands-on support with the leaching process itself — reagent dosing, carbon management, solving the problems that only show up in real production. We provide all of it as an EPC turnkey project, the same model as this Tanzania plant.
